Okay, I haven't been asked any questions at all yet, let alone been asked the same ones more than once, so I'll make a few up.

What's it all about?
(. . . Alfie? Is it just for the moment we live?) Well, this is my webcomic, Tilting at Windmills.  I figure that the title itself sort of describes the experience of creating it.  As you can probably tell from the relatively unsophisticated site design, I'm extremely new to this whole internet experience.  Anyway, to make a long story short: This is the final cumulation of my semester-long exploration of webcomics for my New Media Studies course.  I hope you all enjoy.

Seriously, though.  What's this comic about?
High school.  Superheroes.  Geekery.  Trying to work in as many pop culture references as possible, because goodness knows my brain is full of them.  Or, to be a bit more IMDb-synopsis about it: "High school senior Mike Sloweski is small-time superhero Forseti. He gets by with a little help from his friends, Danny Flint and Masahide Yamashiro."

Masahide Yamashiro?
Is actually my mother's uncle's name. If by chance he's stumbled upon this, I hope he doesn't mind my borrowing it. It's a great name and I kinda forgot it was his when I chose it.

How should I read this?
However you want! But if you want to start from the beginning, which I suggest, click here for the first strip and then hit "next" for the next one.  And so forth.

New Media Studies?
Well, the easiest answer is, "Here, read the syllabus." (Or, hey, I link to my New Media blog in the Links section.) Can I define it as the combination of communication/art/life/writing/everything/interaction with computers/television/technology/everything? Or is that too specific?

. . . Can you name all ten actors to play the Doctor?
William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, John Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann (who totally counts), Christoper Eccleston, and David Tennant. (Peter Cushing, on the other hand, does not count.)
